Meet The Jones Family

A growing family living with a passion for having fun and staying connected, the Jones Family shared with us why they fell in love with Durham Farms.

Chris and Salimah Jones exude true joy, devotion to family, and helping others. Before moving to Durham Farms, they were “proud cheeseheads” from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They relocated due to Chris’s work and were thrilled to find Durham Farms in friendly Hendersonville. They were looking for a larger house for their growing family, close to work, and with excellent schools. They found it all right here with us. Salimah is a successful family nurse practitioner and established a thriving concierge health and wellness practice right here in Hendersonville. She’s all about wellness and loves all the active amenities at Durham Farms — especially the scenic trails for walking, jogging, and riding bikes.

Their new home is perfect for everyone in the Jones family. They chose to build with Crescent Homes because they wanted lots of space as well as a big backyard. “We wanted a home large enough to fit a family of 6 comfortably with plenty of space for the kids to run around. There’s plenty of room inside their home where they can enjoy family game nights to the fullest with spirited games of Uno.” Their older kids love how spacious their home is to relax and do their own thing, and “escape the younger kids and of course, mom & dad.” There’s even enough room in their beautiful new home for grandma who stays with them for half of the year.

Chris and Salimah’s Four Favorite Things about Durham Farms:

“Our favorite thing about Durham Farms is our street. Our neighbors are awesome and look out for each other. Plus, we win all the cornhole championships!”

Their favorite amenity is definitely the pool. “The kids love it and we can’t wait for our little guy to run through the splash pad.”

Their favorite club is the wine club.

Their favorite events include the live Tabata classes, Easter Egg hunts, and food/ice cream trucks.
