Whether you’re seeking relaxation, exploration or excitement, the Myrtle Beach area delivers. Grande Dunes is at the heart of it all, with easy access to treat yourself at numerous shopping centers within a 10-mile radius. Enjoy wonderful dining and plenty of family activities, all close by.

What Makes Grande Dunes Grande

Behind the scenes, there are several agencies working together to serve you to create the best possible lifestyle experience for each resident. From amenities and experiences to ensuring economic stability and quality of life – each branch plays an important role.

Every amenity is overseen by organizations who are committed to being the best of the best experts in their fields. They possess deep industry knowledge, including facilities management, hospitality, business development, human resources, corporate finance and marketing.

The Ocean Club

“The Ocean Club is the social centerpiece of Grande Dunes,” says Ross dePencier, General Manager.

Featuring Mediterranean-style architecture, the Ocean Club offers residents private oceanfront access and a variety of dining experiences and entertainment opportunities. Whether soaking up the sun by the pool, enjoying cocktails and tapas at happy hour, or hosting your own private function, you will find the Ocean Club is a luxurious beach retreat.

“Our beach and pool services include adult and children’s pools, and a whirlpool,” Ross explained. “Enjoy chaise lounges, towels and beach umbrellas, along with food and beverage service around the pool and verandas. Guest passes can be purchased for the pool on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.”

Complete with spaces for meetings, private events and activities, the Ocean Club is ideal for lunches, cocktail parties, the members-only beach and social gatherings. Club dining features exquisite cuisine and outstanding service in the dining room, bar, and the outdoor verandas overlooking the ocean.

The Members Club

For those of you who love golf, and even those who don’t, the Members Club has something for everyone.

“Our exclusive 18-hole par-71 championship golf course is designed by PGA Hall of Fame golfer Nick Price and award-winning architect Craig Schreiner,” says Hillel Mindlin, General Manager. “It offers a classic inland style and features wide, generous fairways.”

This course measures 5,000 to 7,048 yards and has L93 bentgrass greens built to USGA specifications. The Members Club also has an expansive practice facility, which includes two large practice greens with chipping and bunker areas.

“And after a challenging game, members can choose to relax in the 27,000 square-foot clubhouse,” said Pam Evans Pratt, Membership Director. “You can sit on the veranda that overlooks the 9th and 18th greens, or enjoy a full-service golf shop, luxurious dining area, Old World style library with fine vintages and spirits, or enjoy casual alfresco dining on the terrace with a charming bistro ambiance.”

“The Members Club is the perfect setting for social events,” added Hillel. “Whether you’re hosting a birthday, anniversary, club gathering, class reunion or anything in between, our team is ready to make your event one that will be remembered for years. We’re here to make your event flawless and do the work so you can enjoy yourself.”

The Marina

With 126 full berth wet slips, 1,200 ft of lay-a-long dockage and 400 ft of T-dock space, the Marina is fully equipped with any kind of boating need. From gas and diesel fuel, pump-out station and boat, as well as security, the Marina also has premium cable TV, telephone, wireless Internet, newspaper and limited guest transportation. You can even shop for boutique-style nautical clothing and accessories, marina items, tackle and other convenience items.

Open to the public, the fun, casual dining spot the Anchor café allows you to relax with a refreshing cocktail while watching your favorite sports on the flat-screen TVs and dive into delicious lunches and dinners.

Community Resources

There’s even more to check out. Watch our video, and, if you’re already a resident, the Grande Dunes Master Association and its partners use several methods to connect with you. Perhaps the two most important are the Members Login and TownSq.

Members Login — Accepts online dining, event and golf reservations for the Members Club and the Ocean Club.

TownSq — Used by Grande Dunes for community-wide notifications and event announcements. Residents whose local neighborhoods are administered by Waccamaw Management can use TownSq to pay POA fees, file architectural review documents and contact staff.
