Find Fun and Adventure Near Arden
When you have kids, keeping them busy is often key to keeping the whole family happy. Thankfully, there’s plenty to do in Palm Beach County that the whole family can enjoy. The hardest part is just deciding what you want to do first!

Educational Activities
You can have fun and sneak in a little education at the same time! The Museum of Discovery and Science has a little something for everyone. The Discovery Center allows kids ages 6 and under to touch and explore the world around them, and older kids will love to learn about prehistoric Florida or even fly a simulated jet! The Schoolhouse Children’s Museum and Learning Center is perfect for younger kids. Filled with child-sized experiences, kids can touch and play with every exhibit, including milking a simulated cow and learning about farming in Florida.
At the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, you can do much more than ooh and aah at fish and turtles. Take a journey through the human brain, visit the planetarium or explore the rare collection of space artifacts! There’s even a rotating exhibit, currently featuring dinosaurs, so there’s always something new to discover.
Just for Fun
Have an animal lover? The Lion Country Safari is just down the road from Arden. You can go on a safari adventure and even pet many of the animals! Or, head over to McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary to visit over 200 different animals, including tigers, owls, snakes and monkeys!
For an easy Saturday activity, you can always visit Okeeheelee Park to have a picnic, play some games or visit the dog park with your furry family. Or take it up a notch and visit Rapids Water Park for a thrilling day of rides, wave pools and tubing!

Meet up for a play date at the park, cool off at the resort-style pool or kick a soccer ball around on the manicured play field.
