Koka Booth Amphitheater

Located in the midst of 14 acres of towering hardwoods and pines next to Symphony Lake at Regency Park in Cary, Koka Booth is one of the region’s leading outdoor concert and entertainment venues. Events range from national touring artists and the North Carolina Symphony to food and beverage festivals, movie nights, and more, to the delight of up to 7,000 attendees per event. Bring a chair or blanket for the lawn, or make arrangements for seating at the Crescent Deck for the following events:

Pittsboro’s First Sunday Artisan Fair & Market

Head to Downtown Pittsboro on the first Sunday of the month, March – December, from noon to 5 PM for live music, food trucks, and vendors marketing their art, jewelry, pottery, soaps, textiles, woodwork, and more! A play area is designated for children in the parking lot across from Pittsboro Roadhouse, and many businesses host their own sales and events on these special days. Mark your calendar for these upcoming Pittsboro First Sunday Artisan Fair & Market dates:

The Small Museum of Folk Art

Get out of the heat on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM and view artwork by distinguished local artists at The Small Museum of Folk Art, located at 219 East Street in Pittsboro! Located at the same address as the Small B&B Café, the museum is eco-friendly, constructed from reclaimed and salvaged materials. Furthermore, the museum is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council and the Chatham Arts Council, with more than 400 folk art pieces that have been collected over a 30 year period.


Movies Under the Stars in Chapel Hill

Bring your chair or a blanket for a free movie and popcorn in Downtown Chapel Hill, just footsteps away from effervescent Franklin Street! Located at Wallace Plaza, on top of the Wallace Parking Deck at 150 E. Rosemary Street, this venue offers a terrific view of Downtown Chapel Hill, with plenty of food choices available at nearby restaurants. Make plans today to check out the following summer flicks:
