Day Trip Destinations Near Wellington

Visit Count Down Escape Games for a puzzling experience solving riddles and locks, then head over to Adventure Mini Golf – they even have an advanced course to test out your skills. Wrap up the evening at the Lake Worth Drive In movie theatre watching nostalgic films under the stars.

Start off the day at Wakodahatchee Wetlands, exploring the park as you stroll hand-in-hand. The Silverball Museum is filled with classic pinball and arcade games, and is sure to be an afternoon of fun! Then grab a waterfront dinner at Deck 84, and enjoy live music on the weekends.
  3. Boca RatonLooking for something to do with the kids or grandkids? Sugar Sands Park in Boca Raton has a science museum, live theatre and a whole host of events throughout the year. For nature lovers, try out the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center – they have a butterfly garden, trails, aquariums and even scavenger hunts! Or if art is more your thing, the Museum of Art offers a variety of exhibits and special events just for kids.
  4. JupiterThere’s no better place to have a classic Florida experience than Jupiter. Jupiter Beach Park is just the place to dip your toes in the water or play in the sand. You can tour Inlet Lighthouse, a historical lighthouse that’s been in operation since the 1860s. And when you’re hungry, grab a bite at the Food Shack and enjoy some of the freshest and tastiest seafood around!
  5. WellingtonRather take a staycation? Take a wild ride at Lion Country Safari, right next door to Arden, and see what animals you spot! You could spend an entire weekend at Okeeheelee Park, with sports fields, a dog park, equestrian trails, a boat launch, fishing and more. Or try something totally new and take a class at the Aerial Trapeze Academy, where you can learn how to flip and fly through the sky!
